International Mobilisations 2009 - Discussion and Information Event 29th Jan

2009 will be a busy year, and many are already thinking about travelling to one or several of the international protests against the summits of global leaders and politicians. No Borders have teamed up with other groups and individuals in Manchester to organise a discussion and information event:

Summit Mobilisations 2009
Thursday 29th January, 7pm
University of Manchester Students Union - Meeting Room 1

A session to discuss responses to the various summits of 2009 including:

NATO in Strasbourg – April09 propping up Western militarism
G8 in Italy
G20 in London – April 1st 2009 – Restructuring the
Global Financial Economy
No Borders Camp in France – summer09
Copenhagen – Dec09 – the UN Climate Change Talks (COP15)



The event will also discuss the various advantages and disadvantages of international summit mobilisations.
